How Legacy Echo works
Three steps, spread over as long as you like. Most people start with one story and find the rest comes easily.
1. Answer a question
We ask the kind of question a biographer would ask — not "tell me about your life", which nobody can answer, but "what did your mother sound like when she called you in for dinner". Speak your answer or type it. There is no wrong length.
2. We write it down
Your recording is transcribed and kept alongside the original audio, so nothing is lost in translation. We pull out the people, places, and dates you mentioned, and add them to your timeline automatically.
3. Your family can ask
Once you share it, your family can ask questions and get answers in your voice, drawn from what you actually said. Every answer shows which memory it came from, so they can hear the original.

Your character will never invent a memory. If your family asks about something you never talked about, it says so and suggests what you did cover.
